Ambassador Rosanne Ridgway

Orinoco River Cruise

Ambassador Ridgway, a 32-year veteran of the American diplomatic service, is a sought after speaker and commentator on world affairs and diplomatic history. Drawing on a career that included appointments as Ambassador to Finland and East Germany, and a four-year stint as Assistant US Secretary of State for Europe & Canada - which found her "at the table" at all five Reagan-Gorbachev summits - Ambassador Ridgway lectures and "thinks out loud" about the global agenda, its challenges and opportunities. She also serves as a director for several corporations and associations, including the National Geographic Society, and as Chairman of the Baltic-American Enterprise Fund. In 1998, Ambassador Ridgway was inducted into the National Women's Hall of Fame.
